Renaissance is proud to offer the exquisite Italian Bolognese to North America. I have carefully selected breeding stock of World Champion bloodlines, with good health, and delightful temperaments.
Bolognese are intelligent, loyal and perceptive little individuals. They desire to be an intricate part of your life; always looking up into your eyes and communicating with you. They frolic joyfully, dancing on hind legs to get your attention, and love to cuddle. Truly these delightful little dogs are more like people than canine. They are highly interactive with their humans.
My Bolognese are my constant companions; adding joy and charm to every room of my home. All puppies are raised in my home, and are socialized by my grandchildren and friends in the neighborhood. Our summer home is on the family Ranch in the mountains of Colorado where we enjoy clean, clear mountain air, sunshine, and cool summer breezes. When the winter snows come to the mountains, my Bolognese family and I migrate to warmer climate in the Hill Country of Texas. Bolos do not like to be cold.
I met my first Bolognese in the mountains of Italy, at a villa in Tole’ near Bologna, where the Bolognese originated. They stole my heart then and there. I am passionate about the raising of my Bolognese and I have dedicated my years of experience to a breeding program that will cooperate in the preservation and restoration of this exquisite breed.
Renaissance Bolognese litters are carefully planned. Parents are selected to produce the health, beauty, and delightful temperament that exemplifies this elegant breed. Each puppy is home nurtured and is the center of my attention until it leaves my home for yours.
All Bolognese that are used in my breeding program are eye tested with the CERF, patella checked, and micro chipped. Many have Italian FCI registration, besides being registered with the Bichon Bolognese Association Of America.
